Richard Ernest Kirk Mensah, the incumbent Western Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has declared his intention to seek re-election, pledging to continue serving the party with humility, dedication and a renewed commitment.
Mr. Kirk Mensah, in announcing his decision, appealed to party members, supporters and sympathisers to maintain their confidence in his leadership as he seeks another mandate to retain the position.
He expressed readiness to continue in the role, emphasising the importance of unity, trust and collective responsibility as the party prepares for the next phase of its internal political activities in the Western Region.
“Let’s get ready, stay focused, and get it sealed with all humility, dedication, and a renewed commitment to serve you once more,” he stated.
The incumbent Regional Communications Officer highlighted unity and sustained support from party members as essential to his bid for re-election.
According to him, the journey ahead would require continued cooperation, trust and prayers from members and sympathisers to strengthen the party’s collective efforts.
“The journey continues, and with your support, trust, and prayers, we shall move forward together,” he added.
His message places emphasis on continuity and collective action, with a call for party members to remain focused and united as the NDC undertakes its internal electoral processes in the region.
Mr. Kirk Mensah also reaffirmed the values he intends to uphold in his leadership, identifying humility, dedication and unity as central principles guiding his quest for another term.
“Service before self, humility in leadership, and victory through unity,” he declared.
Concluding his declaration with an expression of confidence and readiness, he stated: “Richard Ernest Kirk-Mensah is Ready to Serve Once More!”
Mr. Kirk Mensah’s declaration sets the stage for his bid to retain the Western Regional Communications Officer position as the NDC prepares for its next round of internal party activities.
As the incumbent, his re-election campaign is expected to draw attention to his record in communicating the party’s positions, engaging with the media and projecting the NDC’s message across the Western Region.
The position of Regional Communications Officer is important to the party’s public engagement, particularly in articulating its policies, responding to political developments and maintaining communication between party leadership, members and the wider public.
However, Mr. Kirk Mensah’s declaration has so far centred on his readiness to serve another term, his appeal for continued support and his commitment to the principles he believes should guide his leadership.

His emphasis on humility, dedication and unity forms the central message of his re-election bid, which seeks to rally party members around the prospect of continuity in regional communications leadership.
Whether he secures another mandate will depend on the outcome of the party’s internal electoral process and the support he receives from the relevant delegates.
For now, Mr. Kirk Mensah has made his position clear: he is ready to seek another term and continue serving the NDC in the Western Region.
