The chronic state of poor road networks remains a significant hurdle for the Jomoro enclave.

The infrastructure deficit has notably dampened investor confidence, as businesses remain hesitant to establish roots in areas with limited accessibility.
This stagnation has restricted job creation and hindered efforts toward economic diversification in the area.
To change the narrative, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Jomoro and Deputy Minister of Transport, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring the government prioritises road restoration within her constituency.
In an interview with 1960news.com, the lawmaker urged residents to remain patient.
She noted that the government, through its “Big-Push” initiative, is determined to address deplorable road conditions nationwide to revitalise local economies and enhance public safety.
”The major problem in my constituency is the poor road network,” Hon. Affo-Toffey stated.
“But the good news is that the Minister of Roads, Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, has assured me that many of our roads, specifically the stretch from Samenya-barrier to Newtown-Half Assini will be constructed.”
While awaiting major contractors, the MP has taken proactive steps to provide immediate relief.
Utilising the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) machinery, she has initiated an intensive reshaping project to make community roads motorable.
To ensure the project moves at pace, the lawmaker confirmed she has personally funded the fuel required for the DRIP machines to cover every corner of the constituency.
This intervention, she believes, will enhance the transport of farm produce to major markets to prevent post-harvest losses.
It will also reduce delays in reaching medical facilities, which is critical for pregnant women and those with chronic illnesses.
Hon. Affo-Toffey expressed optimism that these improvements will bridge the gap until permanent paving begins.
She thus appealed to the people of Jomoro to embrace and leverage government policies designed to improve their livelihoods.
