Ghanaian music duo Keche Global, comprising Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe (Keche Andrew), has expressed profound gratitude to the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, and GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd for the immense contribution to the growth of the group’s brand over the past seven years.

The appreciation follows the amicable conclusion of the professional and contractual relationship between the duo and the entrepreneur, which began in 2019.

In separate messages, the two musicians acknowledged the significant role Mrs Gyan Cudjoe had played in their careers, describing her support as transformative and instrumental to the development of Keche.

Joshua Kojo Ampah, in a voice note responding to the announcement, said he was deeply moved by the contribution of the legislator to his personal life, the family and the Keche brand.

He described Joana Gyan Cudjoe as a sister and expressed respect for her roles as an entrepreneur, Member of Parliament and Queen Mother in the Amenfi Central area.

“I want to say a very big thank you for everything. I can’t name them. You brought great impact in my life as Joshua Kojo Ampah, and to Kofi Kojo as your husband, and Keche as the brand. I’m very, very grateful,” he said.

According to Joshua, he had always believed that Joana Gyan Cudjoe would eventually attain the level of success she has achieved, recalling conversations they had over the years about her challenges and aspirations.

He thanked God for bringing someone like her into their lives and pledged that he and his colleague would continue working hard to ensure that the duo builds on the foundation she helped establish.

“We also continue to work hard. Me, myself, your husband, we’ll continue to work hard so that all the time people will know that, yes, where you left us, we didn’t go back. We went up, up, up to bring a good name to the family, your brand, and where you represent and what you represent,” he added.

Keche Andrew, who is married to Joana Gyan Cudjoe, also paid tribute to his wife for what he described as her extraordinary intervention in the affairs of Keche at a critical point in the duo’s career.

Addressing her as his boss and acknowledging her personal relationship with him, Andrew recalled how she entered the music industry despite having no previous experience in the sector.

He said her willingness to take a risk on the group opened a new chapter in Keche’s career and resulted in opportunities that had previously appeared beyond their reach.

Among them, he cited an international production trip involving a large team, which enabled the group to shoot music videos outside Ghana.

According to Andrew, Joana Gyan Cudjoe financed the travel, accommodation and other logistical requirements for a team of about 20 people.

He said the investment was particularly significant because travelling abroad to produce music videos had been a long-standing dream of the duo.

Andrew further stated that if Keche were ever given another opportunity to choose someone to invest in and support the group in the same manner, they would choose Joana Gyan Cudjoe repeatedly.

“If we are given the chance to pick anybody for Keche, we will pick you over and over and over and over again,” he said.

He also acknowledged the personal support and prayers she had offered him, stressing that her contribution goes beyond business and music.

According to Andrew, Joana Gyan Cudjoe is “God-sent” to him, the family and Keche as a team.

He said reading through the statement announcing the end of the partnership left him emotional, adding that he had “goosebumps” while reflecting on everything she had done for them.

The messages from the musicians come after GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd announced the conclusion of its seven-year professional relationship with Keche Global.

The company said the partnership, which began in 2019, had involved substantial support, investment and collaboration aimed at advancing the duo’s career and brand.

While the contractual relationship has now ended, the parties have stressed that the separation is amicable and peaceful.

Joana Gyan Cudjoe has wished both musicians peace, good health, happiness and greater success as they embark on their respective future endeavours.

She also reiterated that the end of the professional partnership does not affect the respect and family ties that have been established over the years.

GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd has subsequently appealed to fans and music lovers in Ghana, Africa and beyond to continue supporting Keche Global.

The company encouraged the public to keep streaming the duo’s music, watching their videos, following their social media platforms, attending their performances and supporting their future projects.

It emphasised that the conclusion of the business relationship should not be interpreted as the end of public support for Keche Global.

The duo, meanwhile, has assured supporters that it will continue working hard and building on the progress achieved over the years.
