Chiefs and elders of the Enyan Abaasa Traditional Area in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region have called for peace, unity, and cooperation among members of the Twidan Akorabo Family following the official introduction of a new family head.
The colorful ceremony, which attracted traditional leaders, family members, opinion leaders, and community stakeholders, marked the formal unveiling of the newly appointed family head, Ebusuapanyin Kobina Botwey, to the Paramount Chief, divisional chiefs, sub-chiefs, and elders of the Enyan Abaasa Traditional Area.
Speaking during the event, the chiefs congratulated Ebusuapanyin Kobina Botwey on his appointment and urged him to discharge his responsibilities with honesty, humility, fairness, and dedication.
According to them, peace and unity remain the foundation for the growth and development of every family and community, stressing that the success of the Twidan Akorabo Family would largely depend on the ability of its members to work together in harmony.
The chiefs advised the newly introduced family head to prioritize reconciliation and conflict resolution within the family and ensure that all members feel included and respected.
They further described him as a young and energetic leader with the potential to bring fresh ideas and renewed hope to the family, particularly among the youth.
The traditional leaders encouraged him to remain transparent in all his dealings and to lead by example so that younger family members could emulate his good character, discipline, and leadership qualities.
Addressing the gathering, the Paramount Chief of the Enyan Abaasa Traditional Area and Vice President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, Okoamankra Kwame Akonu X, also congratulated Ebusuapanyin Kobina Botwey and charged him to uphold the traditions, customs, and values of the family.

He stressed the need for peace, unity, and mutual respect among family members, noting that division and misunderstanding could hinder the progress and development of the family.
“A united family is always stronger and capable of achieving greater things for the benefit of future generations,” the Paramount Chief stated.
Okoamankra Kwame Akonu X further advised the new family head to emulate the good works of his predecessors and elders whose leadership contributed significantly to the stability and advancement of the Twidan Akorabo Family.
He also urged him to maintain a close working relationship with the traditional authorities and to respond promptly whenever called upon to support matters concerning the welfare and development of the community.
The Paramount Chief expressed confidence in the ability of Ebusuapanyin Kobina Botwey to unite the family and provide visionary leadership that would promote harmony, progress, and prosperity.
The ceremony was marked with prayers, goodwill messages, and a renewed commitment by family members to support the new Ebusuapanyin in carrying out his duties effectively for the advancement of both the Twidan Akorabo Family and the Enyan Abaasa Traditional Area.
