The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has rescheduled the commencement of the submission of completed nomination forms for its 2026 National Executive Elections from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
The adjustment, according to the party, has been necessitated by the Monthly National Clean-Up Exercise scheduled for the same day.
In a notice issued on Friday, November 6, 2026, and signed by Dr Peter Boamah Otokunor, Spokesperson for the Congress Elections Committee, the committee informed all aspirants contesting the upcoming national executive elections of the change in the submission schedule.
The committee explained that the exercise, which was initially scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m., would now commence at midday to accommodate activities associated with the nationwide sanitation exercise.
“Accordingly, all aspirants are advised to take note of the revised commencement time and make the necessary arrangements to submit their nomination forms,” the notice stated.
The NDC further indicated that the submission exercise would take place at the party’s National Headquarters, Jerry John Rawlings House, in accordance with the announced arrangements.
The rescheduling is expected to guide aspirants and their representatives as preparations continue towards the 2026 national executive elections.

The party has urged all contestants to take note of the revised timetable and make the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth submission process.
The NDC’s 2026 National Executive Elections form part of its internal democratic processes to elect officers who will oversee the party’s national administration and organisational activities.
