The New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman aspirant, Hon. Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko, has unveiled the leadership of his campaign team.
The announcement, made during a gathering of party volunteers, signals a shift in gears for the Agyarko camp.
By recruiting two of the party’s most formidable stalwarts, Agyarko has made it clear that his bid to lead the NPP is built on experience, grassroots loyalty, and a “victory-first” mindset for the 2028 general elections.
The campaign will be steered by two men whose names are synonymous with NPP discipline and strategic mobilization:
Hon. Henry Quartey (Campaign Manager): The former Minister for the Interior and Greater Accra Regional Minister is widely known as an “action man.” His tenure in government was marked by bold reforms and a deep connection to the Ayawaso Central constituency.
Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu (Senior Campaign Advisor): Known popularly as Joe Wise, the former First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Bekwai MP brings decades of legislative wisdom and internal party diplomacy to the table.
In selecting these two stalwarts, Hon. Boakye Agyarko has signaled his intent to run a grassroots-centered campaign,” the official statement noted.
“Their combined experience provides a formidable strategic advantage.”
The core of the Agyarko campaign is not just winning the chairmanship, but preparing the NPP for the ultimate goal, securing the presidency for H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in 2028.
The campaign leadership expressed a shared conviction in Agyarko’s roadmap, which focuses on three pillars.

According to Spokesperson Vincent Frimpong Manu, Esq., a comprehensive National Campaign Team featuring specialists in research, communications, and operations will be officially inaugurated in the coming weeks.
