The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection (MoGCSP) has officially extended its condolences and pledged immediate psychosocial intervention for victims of the Accra New Town disaster.
The tragedy, which occurred on Sunday, March 29, has sent shockwaves through the capital, prompting a swift response from both emergency services and government officials.
The Sector Minister, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, issued a statement expressing profound sadness over the loss of life and the injuries sustained by residents.
”On behalf of the Ministry and myself, I extend deepest condolences to the bereaved families and sincere sympathy to all those affected by this unfortunate incident,” Dr. Lartey stated.
Beyond words of comfort, the Ministry is mobilizing the Social Welfare Department to provide practical relief.
