The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of outstanding funds for the procurement of perishable food items for Senior High and Technical Schools across the country, in a move aimed at strengthening feeding arrangements in second-cycle institutions.
In a press statement issued by its Public Relations Unit on April 20, 2026, the Service disclosed that the funds—previously delayed—have now been made available, bringing relief to school authorities and stakeholders in the education sector who had raised concerns over food supply challenges.
