Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak SC have parted ways with their Technical Team led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani following the conclusion of the 2025/26 football season.
In an official statement issued on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the club announced that the decision was reached after what it described as a “comprehensive technical review” conducted by the Board at the end of the campaign.
The Phobians expressed gratitude to Coach Dramani and his backroom staff for their service, professionalism, and commitment during their time with the club.
According to the statement, Hearts of Oak acknowledged the efforts of the technical team, noting that the club secured a third-place finish in the just-ended season under their leadership.
“The club extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Dramani and his staff for their professionalism, commitment, and service. Under their guidance, Hearts of Oak secured a third-place finish in the just-ended season, and we acknowledge the discipline and effort they brought to the technical setup,” portions of the statement read.
The club further disclosed that the team and players are currently on recess as management prepares for the next phase of the club’s technical direction.
The Board assured supporters that a new roadmap regarding the technical structure of the team would be communicated in due course as the club seeks to align its football philosophy with its long-term ambitions and identity.
Hearts of Oak also appealed to its supporters to remain calm and continue backing the club, insisting that every decision being taken is aimed at strengthening the team both on and off the pitch.
“We thank our cherished supporters for their loyalty and passion, and assure you that every decision taken is aimed at strengthening the club both on and off the pitch, with the ultimate goal of sustained domestic and continental success,” the statement added.
The former Asante Kotoko coach was appointed on a two-year contract in June 2025 as part of Hearts of Oak’s rebuilding project.
Coach Didi Dramani’s departure is expected to spark discussions among the club’s fan base as Hearts of Oak begin the search for a new technical team ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
