The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has reiterated her commitment to transforming the constituency through sustained infrastructure development and improved public services, assuring residents that the mandate they entrusted to her is beginning to yield results.

In a statement, the MP said her administration is determined to reverse what she described as decades of neglect that have left Amenfi Central trailing behind many other constituencies in the Western Region.

According to her, the constituency has struggled to attract the level of investment and development needed to improve the living standards of its people.

She observed that since the advent of the Fourth Republic in 1992, Amenfi Central has remained one of the least developed areas in the region, a situation she believes has discouraged both public and private investment.

Hon. Gyan Cudjoe said her vision is to ensure that the constituency receives the attention it deserves through aggressive lobbying and strategic engagement with the central government, development agencies and other stakeholders.

She stressed that improving infrastructure remains her top priority, noting that quality roads, access to safe drinking water, modern schools, healthcare facilities and Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds are essential to improving the well-being of residents.

The MP said she wants the people of Amenfi Central to enjoy the same standard of living available in some of the country’s more developed communities, adding that no Ghanaian should be deprived of basic social amenities because of where they live.

She further assured constituents that her office would continue to pursue opportunities that would attract investment and accelerate socio-economic development across the constituency.

Hon. Gyan Cudjoe expressed confidence that with determination, collaboration and effective leadership, Amenfi Central can overcome its development challenges and become a more attractive destination for investment and economic growth.

She assured residents that she remains committed to delivering on her campaign promises and ensuring that the constituency secures its fair share of national development initiatives.
