According to the DVLA, the DVLAVerify App is now officially live on the Apple App Store, providing iPhone and other compatible iOS device users with an additional option to complete their identity verification remotely.
Prospective vehicle owners and applicants seeking vehicle registration services can download the application from the App Store and use it to complete the required biometric identity verification process on their devices.
The DVLA has also introduced a web-based verification platform for applicants who may not have access to a compatible smartphone.
Under the arrangement, applicants can complete their identity verification through a web browser using a compatible computer equipped with a working webcam.
