Dr Bernard Oke Boye has been elected the new Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), securing a decisive victory in the party’s regional election.
Dr Oke Boye polled 490 votes to emerge winner, defeating his main contender, Alfred Boye, who obtained 172 votes.
The result gives Dr Oke Boye a strong mandate to lead the NPP’s Greater Accra Regional Secretariat as the party works to reorganise its structures, strengthen grassroots mobilisation and rebuild its electoral fortunes.
